Changes and New procedures:

We are taking every precaution to keep our customers and Team safe. We have introduced a partial one way system; hand sanitiser is provided by the Serendipity front door and by Daisy’s before you enter; we also have hand washing facilities in our cloakroom. Some tables have been removed from Daisy’s in order to comply with social distancing and windows opened for ventilation. We have also opened our new covered, outdoor seating area called ‘The Archway’ which opens directly onto the High Street and is heated with an infrared lamp.  We regularly sanitise ‘hot spot’ areas throughout the day, such as handrail; cloakroom; door handles etc. Daisy’s have their own cleaning regime after every customer. Our Team wear face shields; NHS Track and Trace (as a food establishment, we are required to take part in this scheme) is being carried out by a Serendipity front desk Team member who will also be asking your permission to take a non contact temperature check.

Is all this necessary?

At the moment, we are fortunate to be in a low risk area and that is down to the due diligence of individuals and businesses. Our building is quite ‘quirky’ and we do not have outside seating for Daisy’s. Therefore, we feel we have a duty to put measures in place which give our Customers and Team members confidence they are entering and working in a safe environment. Your understanding during these unusual times is appreciated.
